A cross-faculty lecture hall center is to be designed for the new science campus in Hamburg Bahrenfeld. In order to do justice to the constant change in society and teaching, the actual conference center is only formulated as a compact basic structure of rooms of different sizes.

In order to express the importance of networking and exchange between students, the conference center is complemented by a spacious, public interior. This serves as an access zone, waiting room, learning area, exhibition space, event hall and meeting room. On the ground floor, the foyer is used by programs arranged on the side, such as small shops, the campus canteen and the largest lecture hall. The other lecture halls, preparation rooms, learning areas and the accessible roof are accessed via arcades.
