With the following work I would like to present future scenarios which show the different factors of current developments in connection with the MV shipyards should illuminate. Focused on depicting the scenarios the work focuses heavily on the North-West Mecklenburg region, especially on the Hanseatic city of Wismar, its historical Old town and of course the shipyard area of the MV shipyards.

Shipbuilding has shaped the region for over 70 years and for the first time in a long time, shipbuilding is shaping the Region again so strong that this industry has a tremendous will bring change. However, the question arises what would happen if this were to abort again expecting and the region relies on another industry would have to? The shipyard is often discussed in everyday life, however it would be ideal if the residents of the Hanseatic city of Wismar opted for sensitize a future-oriented approach to the shipyard would.
